General Over Seer of the Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume has expressed concern over negative media reports which has continued to cause serious challenge to the image of Nigeria, even as he lauded Pr-Primus Magazine, a foremost Public Relations journal for projecting the business opportunities in the country
Achudume expressed the concern on Tuesday while giving his blessings to the continuous existence of the magazine whose publisher, a Fellow of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and former Ogun State Chairman of the institute , Akin Okudero led other members of editorial team on a courtesy visit to the cleric at Church's headquarters in Abeokuta, the State capital
He described the editorial team of the magazine including Dare Folarin (Editor), former Chairman of NIPR, Femi Dokunmu (Clients Service Executive), Femi Kuye (Film Editor) and Olalekan Okudero (IT Editor) as credible individuals who will continue to improve on the quality of the magazine in subsequent editions
The General Over Seer who commended the editorial team for supporting the unique initiative of the publisher in showcasing the positive image of the country in various aspects of life
According to him, "most of the things that happened in Nigeria are always blown out of proportion, we need a Public Relations magazine such as Pr-Primus to project outstanding achievements of Nigerians both within and outside country
"I must commend the quality of the package, the beautiful headlines, beautiful pages, we need to start projecting Nigeria well, the United States of America and other countries in Europe are not better than Nigeria",he stressed
He recalled his experience during a visit to the United Kingdom where he noted 35 out of the 60 consultants who are Nigerians from a particular specialist hospital
Achudume assured the editorial team of the magazine of continuous support while promising to encourage more entrepreneurs to set up more businesses and create opportunities for Nigerians to be employed
The cleric tasked the editorial team of the magazine to also showcase the tourism potentials of the country, particularly Ogun State with so much historic places to the rest of the world
