Personnel in the Ogun State Ministry of Information and Strategy have been asked to be more commited to prompt dissemination of news about activities of the government to the public
The newly appointed Permanent Secretary at the ministry, Mr. Waheed Adesina who gave the charge in Abeokuta during a statutory meeting with Information Officers, also
assured them that priority would be given to their welfare to enhance productivity
The Permanent Secretary stressed that the communication protocol should be observed accordingly while urging officers to ensure prompt reportage of government activities to the public in print, online and electronic media.
Adesina added that suggestion box would be provided in the Ministry for new ideas for the upliftment of the agency. He advised the staff to adhere to the mode of dressing in the Civil Service.
In his remark, the Director, Planning Research and Statistics, Mr. Samuel Oyeleye, assured of the staff’s cooperation, saying they would be more productive for the betterment of the Ministry and Ogun State at large.
Speaking on behalf of the Information Officers, Mr. Wale Olanrewaju pledged officers’ loyalty and promised to give full support to the Permanent Secretary.
