Ogun Retains Overall Best State In 2022 JETS National Competition



Ogun State has retained its overall best position for the third consecutive year, in the recently concluded 2022 Junior Engineers, Technicians And Scientists JETS National Competition in Nigeria 

The State team at the  competition  held at Federal Government College, Keffi in Nasarawa State, came first in:Mathematics with two trophies, Physics with two trophies, Chemistry with two trophies, Computer with two trophies, Biology with two trophies, Primary Maths with a trophy

Edu-Biznews recalled that the state clinched the top spot in the 2020 and 2021 editions of the prestigious quiz Competition among secondary and primary schools in the country




The state also came second in: Technology with a  trophy each in Inter state quiz  and Primary Science 

Other trophies won by the team  include:1st and 2nd  Overall best students, Best Jets Coordinator, clinching 18 trophies in all, in addition to Laptops and other prizes 

Members of the JETS team included :
Atinshola Hakeem,Ganiyu Olatunbosun,Yusuf Kazeem and Kuti Olujide

The  contingent that represented the state included three from the Secondary level while the remaining one is from the Primary School level.

They are African Church Grammar School, Ita-Eko, Abeokuta. (Public),  Crescent High School, Ijoko-Ota. (Private). and Adeola Odutola Elementary School, Ijebu Ode. (Private Primary School).


The State has continued to dominate the famous quiz Competition, since the advent of the Prince Dapo Abiodun's administration in the state
