AFCON 2021:Nigeria’s Eagles Final 28-Man List, Osimhen ,Shehu, Dennis Get Replacement

  

The Austine Eguavoen led interim technical crew of Super Eagles , have found replacement for the duo of  strikers, Victor Osimhen of Napoli Football Club, Italy, who tested  positive to the coronavirus pandemic, Emmanuel Dennis,whose English Premiership side Watford FC are  reluctant in releasing him and Cyprus based versatile player, Abdullahi Shehu who is suffering from injury

The new inclusion to the 28 man squad  to the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, include Greece-based Henry Onyekuru who replaced Osimhen, Czech Republic –based forward Peter Olayinka is now replacement for Dennis while

 right back Tyrone Ebuehi, now with Venezia in the Italian Serie A is replacing Shehu 

 

England –based Oluwasemilogo Ajayi returns to the group for Africa’s flagship football championship following injury to centre-back Leon Balogun. Ajayi can also play as a midfielder.
