Ogun State Government has cancelled the December edition of the monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise, which falls on Christmas day, Saturday, 25th of the month
Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Engr. Rasak Ojetola who announced the cancellation in a statement, asked residents to celebrate in a clean and tidy environment by giving their wastes, which is expected to be more during the festive period to Private Sector Participants (PSP) assigned to their areas for proper disposal.
The Permanent Secretary said that the environmental personnel and Waste Managers would be on duty, while all government waste disposal vehicles and equipment would be deployed throughout the nooks and crannies of the State for a cleaner environment
She wished all residents and visitors to the State a peaceful and modest celebration.
