Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital is set to host athletes from tertiary Institutions and security agencies in Nigeria for the forthcoming South West Games, tagged SOWEGA Games OGUN 2021
The sporting fiesta which was flagged-off on Tuesday at the Continental Suites in Abeokuta, will officially open at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeoktuta on Tuesday 28th September by 12 noon.

thletes will compete for laurels in 12 sporting events including Athletics, Football, Chess, Scrabble, Basketball, Volleyballs
According to the organizers of the games, the opening football match will be between Immigration Service and Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE teams.
Some of the representatives of security agencies at the flagged-off ceremony included, the Police, FRSC, TRACE, NDLEA, NSCDC, Chairman and members of the Central Working Committee of SOWEGA Ogun- 2021, Dr.Tunde Olokun
