Ogun Assembly Summones Contractor Over Slow Pace Of Ilase- Alari Road Project

Ogun State House of Assembly is worried over slow pace of the ongoing reconstruction of Ilase-Alari road and has summoned the contractor handling the project to appear before its Committee on Works and Infrastructure on July 27, to explain reasons for the delay

The House Committee members led by Hon. Abayomi Fasuwa, expressed the displeasure during an on -the -spot assessment of road projects under construction in Yewa North and South Local Government areas of the State

Fasuwa who commended other contractors handling other road projects for high quality of work being done, said  that the speedy completion of the Ilase- Koko - Alari road project would ease the movement of residents and promote the economic growth of the rural area

He therefore called on the contractors to intensify efforts towards its timely completion.

The House Committee  ordered HAJAIG Construction Company, which had been handling the road construction since two months ago to appear before the Committee on the 27th of July 2021, with all contract documents at the State House of Assembly complex, Oke-Mosan Abeokuta by 2pm.
