Leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State have endorsed the candidature of Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi as the Local Government next Chairman in this Saturday councils'poll in the state
Also endorsed are his running mate Hon. Iretiolu Lanre Sotayo as Vice Chairmanship Candidate, as well as the Ward 2 Councillorship Candidate, Hon. Sanyaolu Ismail Oluwajuwonlo for the forthcoming Local Government election .
Speaking during the endorsement event held at Car Wash, Adatan in Abeokuta, Hon. Ajasa Adegun, says as the Local Government election is fast approaching there is need for APC leadership at the Local Government level to showcase the three anointed candidates to the electorate as their choice candidates for the ward.
He urged the electorate to vote for the three candidates, adding that they would fulfilled all their campaign Promises as well as bring rapid development to Abeokuta South.
" Let me assure you that your vote for the three candidates we are endorsing today will not be a lost vote as they are all men of integrity and am very sure that they will make fulfill their campaign promises and bring development to all the nooks and crannies of Abeokuta South Local Government". Ajasa said.
Speaking on behalf of the other candidates, Hon. Sanyaolu Oluwajunwonlo said dividend of democracy to his council members would not elude them, saying that with the grassroot experienced chairmanship candidate in person of omolaja and his running mate, Abeokuta South would be the best and the first LG it has always be among other Local Government.
He promised that the integrity team would not disappoint the trust repose on them, stressing that all their campaign promises with the help of the Almighty God would surely be fulfilled.
Present at the event include Hon. Akeem Olaseni Ologbowon, former Councillor Abeokuta South, Hon. Saburi Adefolu, Publicity Secretary APC campaign train, Dr. Kehinde Ololade, Olufemi Ilori, the two members of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Temitope Adejojo and Hon. Adeyemi Ademuyiwa as well as, SA to the Governor on Job creation Hon. Abiola and Babatunde Delu among others.
Also last Saturday, the APC leadership including, former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Honourable (Mrs) Titi Oseni-Gomez in Ibara ward of the Abeokuta South endorsed both the Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship candidates along with Councillorship Candidate, Kehinde Edun
