Team-Ogun have clinched two medals including a gold in Taekwondo Poomsea and silver in badminton events on Monday at the ongoing 20th National Sports Festival in Benin-City, the Edo state capital
Salawudeen Afeez won a gold Medal in Taekwondo Poomsea demonstration Men category match at the second day of the festival
Salawudeen who defeated the likes of Delta and Edo state, demonstrated an uncommon dexterity at the event that eventually saw him, winning the ultimate prized medal.
The champion in a chat with newsmen, attributed his winning to God, his coach and efforts of the state government led by Prince Dapo Abiodun for his support to sport development in the state.
Team Ogun also won another silver medal in Badminton event, finishing with two medals as at the time of filing this report on late evening of Monday
