Greenfield Varsity's Abduction: Bandits Kill Two More Students



Two more students of the Greenfield University, Kaduna abducted last April 20 have been killed by their Abductors on Monday 

Edu-Biznews recalled that three of the students were earlier killed last week, Friday, bringing the total number of those killed so far by armed bandits who are demanding for N800million ransom from the parents of the victims, to five out of the 23 students and staff of the university in their custody 

The Kaduna State Commissioner for
Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr.Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner who  confirmed the sad news, promised that
the Government would update the citizenry on further developments.

His words, "On a sad note, security agencies have just reported to the Kaduna State Government the recovery of two more dead bodies of Greenfield University students, killed by armed bandits today, Monday 26th April 2021. ”

According to Aruwan,“The retrieved corpses have been evacuated to a mortuary, and the university has been notified of the development. ”

The Commissioner expressed the concern of the State Government over the ugly incident

“The Government of Kaduna State under the leadership of Malam Nasir El-Rufai is saddened by this evil perpetrated against innocent students abducted while pursuing their education for a glorious future ”,he lamented

He conveyed the Government's condolences to the families of the diseased and management of the university 
“The Government sends its deep empathy to their families and the university management and prays for the repose of their souls. ”

Also 29 students of the College of Forestry and Mechanization, Afaka in Kaduna, are still in custody of their Abductors, over the insistence of the State Government not to pay N500million ransome being demanded by the armed bandits
