CAF Confederation: Enyimba Regain Group Leadership,Beat ES-Setif 2-1



Nigeria's Enyimba International of Aba have regained its leadership in the Group A of the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup, with six points,after beating hard-fighting visitors, ES Setif of Algeria, by a slim two/one win on Sunday

The People's Elephants had to come back from a goal down to win the thrilling group match, played at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba

Captain Austine Oladapo's 40th minute strike, cancelled out the Algerians early goal in the 13th minute by Bakra while Tosin Omoyele grabbed the winner for the homeside in the 60th minute

The Nigerian side dominated the entire match, having 64percent of the ball possession as against their opponents with 36percent, as they finished top of the group ahead of South-Africa's Orlando Pirates who recorded second successive vital away draw against Al-Ahly Benghazi of Libya in the other match of the group

Leaders Enyimba with six points will be guests to the bottom placed ES-Setif with two points in the reverse fixture on next week Sunday, April 11 while Orlando Pirates currently in the second position with five points will host Al-Ahly Benghazi who are third with four points in the group's other match 

A win for the Nigerian side will automatically secure them a place in the quarter-finals of the African second tier clubs competition
