A stoppage-time penalty converted by Oluwole Johnson was enough to secure the needed maximum for the homeside who had earlier lost two/nil on the road in Ikenne-Remo last Sunday to local rivals ,Remo Stars
Aderemi Yusuf missed golden opportunity to put the homeside ahead within five minutes of opening half of the week-six match when his effort cannoned off the upright in what could have been a glorious start for the Ogun State owned team
There was a big clearance from Oronsaye James as Ibom Youth FC looked to break on the counter, that action coming in the 20th minute.
Bakare Fatai 's freekick for Gateway also went wide off the post as the first half ended goalless.
Coach Akeem Busari made a 50th minute substitution when Aderemi Yusuf and Salifu Haruna came into the fray for Bakare Fatai and Adeoye Victor.
The homeside sustained its massive attack against the visiting Ibom-Youth side, with Seyi Okeowo creating yet another finest opportunity to break the deadlock, but Odusina Sunkanmi failed to convert it.

Gateway United in a statement by its Media Officer, Moses Ojewumi, will be visiting Uyo this Saturday,March 13, to confront another Akwa-Ibom State based side,FC One Rocket in one of the week-seven .
