Nigeria's Enyimba International of Aba are now topping Group A in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup, after the team's hard-earned 2-1 win on Wednesday, against the visiting Al-Ahly Benghazi of Libya
Both ES Setif of Algeria and Orlando Pirates of South Africa settled for a goaless draw in the other match of the group.
Austin Oladapo opened scoring for the Peoples Elephants in the tenth minutes of the CAF Confederation Cup opening group match played in Aba, while Imhamed drew level from the penalty spot for the visitors in the 18th minute
Victor Mbaoma however restored the lead for the Nigerian side in the 43rd minute .
The two sides failed to score in the remaining half of the match, as the Coach Fatai Osho tutored side secured the vital three maximum points, to move to the top of the table, ahead of ES Setif and Orlando Pirates who are on a point each while Al-Ahly are at the bottom with no point.
Enyimba will on March 17, confront Orlando Pirates in South Africa in their next group match
