Ogun Govt.To Upgrade Schools Facilities To Global Standard



Ogun State Government has expressed  readiness to upgrade existing facilities in its schools to meet International standard 

The government unfolded plan to provide  in the public schools,new tables, chairs, white board, modern toilets and classrooms, among others, to make them compete globally.

The State Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, Prof.Abayomi Arigbabu who made this known  during his working visits to School with Special Needs and Ansar-ud-deen High School, both in Ijebu-ode, said that the upgrading would create a conducive teaching and learning environment.



The present Prince Dapo Abiodun administration according to him, is strategising on packages that would improve productivity, charging school management and members of staff to be more dedicated to duties.

His words," I actually want a situation where our schools will meet up the standards set by the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun. Facilities in schools need to be upgraded and we are working to achieve the mandate.

"This is a special school where we have special needs children, we need to take good care of them. We have five of them in the State and whatever intervention they need, we have to provide for them. We are also spreading the interventions to other schools, so that our attention will be felt all over the State", Arigbabu assured.

 Principal of Ansar-Ud-Deen High School (Senior), Mr. Kamarudeen Alaga, while conducting the Commissioner round the school, commended the Prince Dapo Abiodun led-government for his laudable achievements in the education sector.
