The defeat worsened Heartland's woes currently in the 18th position with zero point from two matches on the table of the Nigeria's top flight league, having lost their opening away match 3-2 to Katsina United.

The match in Bauchi between two bottom placed teams, Wikki Tourists and Plateau United of Jos will be played this Tuesday while other encounter in Ilorin involving Kwara United and Enyimba International of Aba will hold on January 20, because of the Enyimba's CAF Champions League second round return leg match against the Sudanese El-Merrik, in Aba, this Wednesday.
Enyimba will need to score four unreplied goals against the visitors, who won the first leg by three/nil in Sudan.
