Firm Seeks Ogun Partnership To Host Tv Reality Show, To Boost Tourism




Treasures of The Universe Limited, producers of a television reality show"Treasure Hunt" is seeking the partnership of Ogun State Government to use the state as its choice of location for staging the second edition of the show, aimed at projecting cultural and tourism potentials of the state.

The Project Director of the show, Mr. Gabriel Tukura who led the company 's team recently to the office of the Ogun State Culture and Tourism Commissioner's office, Dr.Oluwatoyin Taiwo in Abeokuta,  sought the state partnership in holding  the second season of the treasure hunt, a television reality show in the state.

Tukura explained that the reality show was meant to initiate peace and mobilise youths in the development and transformation of Nigeria, as well as search for a National Peace Ambassador (NPA), who would encourage the voice of the youths to be heard.

His words" The choice of Ogun State as the base for the programme, is to promote the uniqueness of its rich tourism and cultural heritage, to give the youth greater advantage in participation in nation building".

The State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism while responding, says  any nation that does not care about its youths would be doomed, as they are key in achieving peaceful co-existence.

Dr. Taiwo noted that the potentials imbedded in the youths are beneficial to the State and country at large.

The Commissioner added that the Prince Dapo Abiodun’s administration is concerned about the welfare of the youth, which has made him include them in the State's mantra, 'ISEYA'.
