Gov.Abiodun Re-Assures Yewa-land Of Even Projects Distribution In Ogun




Governor Dapo Abiodun  has re-assured  of Yewa-land of his administration commitment to ensure even distribution of developmental projects across Ogun State. 

He also promised to give adequate support to the annual Oronna Cultural festival, to project rich heritage and tourism potential of the people of Yewa-land.

Abiodun said he would deliver on his electoral promises, for people to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

The governor who gave the assurance during the celebration of this year's annual Oronna festival with the theme 'Festival of Grace' in Ilaro, stressed that his government would be just and fair in the distribution of developmental projects across the State.

Abiodun who was represented by his Deputy, Engr. Naimot Salako -Oyedele said, "the governor is committed to equity and fair distribution of developmental projects across the State. We are assuring you that we will continue to work hard and deliver on our promises for the betterment of the State".

 The governor congratulated  the people of the area on the celebration of the event.

 The Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle appreciated God and the  governor for the celebration despite the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, calling on people of the area to continue to give adequate support to the present administration in the State.

Also the State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Emmanuel Taiwo had earlier described the annual festival as a cultural event primarily designed to preserve, uphold and celebrate the rich cultural tradition of Ilaro and its environs.

The Commissioner disclosed  that the State Government through the Ministry was making concerted efforts to preserve and promote its cultural heritage, through regular documentation, policy implementation and promotion of festivals.
