Ogun State House of Assembly will this Wednesday hold its Stakeholders’ forum on the State Safety Commission Law, 2020 and State Energy Board Law, 2020 bills.
The Forum according to a
statement by the Clerk of the Assembly and Head of Legislative Services, Mr. Deji Adeyemo,will take place at the State House of Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta at 10:00am prompt, while all the Stakeholders are enjoined to be seated by 9.30 am.
The public hearing is being organized by the house ,to provide enabling legislation that will create conducive business environment to boost existing and prospective investments through uniform safety guidelines and provision of regular power supply.
The clerk explained that the forum would serve as an avenue to harness ideas and contributions of all relevant stakeholders with a view to enacting the required legal frameworks for the proper coordination of safety regulations and regular energy supply to the people of the state.
Adeyemo added that the Energy bill would ensure seamless access to electricity, especially in the rural areas.
