The Ogun State Muslim Council (OMC) heartily felicitates its President-General and the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba (Prof.) Saka Adelola Ayokanmi Matemilola, Oluyalo Otileta VII, on the occasion of his fourth coronation anniversary.
The Council in a congratulatory message by its Social and Publicity Secretary/Public Relation Officer, Alhaji Hassan Adekunle
joined the people of Owu Kingdom, the traditional institution, the Muslim Ummah, and well-wishers across Ogun State and beyond in celebrating four years of distinguished stewardship, purposeful leadership and service to humanity.
"Since his ascension to the revered throne, Kabiyesi has continued to demonstrate a strong commitment to the preservation of Yoruba heritage, the promotion of peace and unity, and the advancement of the welfare of his people."
His reign according to OMC, has also reflected an enduring appreciation of the important role of traditional institutions in fostering development, social cohesion and peaceful coexistence.
"The Ogun State Muslim Council particularly celebrates the monarch's leadership within the Muslim community in Ogun State. Since assuming the position of President-General of the Council, Oba Matemilola has consistently advocated unity, brotherhood and constructive collaboration among Muslims across the Egba, Ijebu, Remo and Yewa divisions"

The Council in the message, also acknowledges Kabiyesi's demonstrated commitment to interfaith harmony, saying His public messages have repeatedly emphasised shared values, peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding between Muslims and Christians, reflecting the important role of religious and traditional leadership in building a more peaceful society.
The State Muslim apex body lauded the theme of the fourth anniversary celebration, “Royalty, Culture & Unity,” saying it is a fitting occasion to recognise a reign that continues to place considerable emphasis on heritage, unity, service and development.
The programme's focus on community-oriented activities, including the commissioning of the Igosun Primary Health Center, further reflects the broader significance of leadership that connects tradition with tangible community development.
The Ogun State Muslim Council congratulates Kabiyesi on this remarkable milestone and prays that Almighty Allah continues to grant him wisdom, sound health, strength and divine guidance as he discharges his responsibilities to Owu Kingdom, the Muslim Ummah, Ogun State and humanity.
