Al-Azeez Model School in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, one of the fastest growing brands in Nigeria's primary education sector has celebrated 15th anniversary of its existence with the graduation ceremony of fresh set of primary school leavers who successful completed 2025/2026 academic session in flying colour
Following the success story of nurturing intellectually sound, morally upright, spiritually conscious and socially responsible 83 pupils who graduated from the school and doing well in various secondary schools and tertiary institutions since establishment of the school in September, 2011, the management of institution has announced the commencement of admission process for pioneer set of learners into Junior Secondary School Class 1 and 2 of its newly established Al-Azeez Model College for the 2026/2027 academic session
Proprietor and Executive Director of Al-Azeez Model School, Ustadh Tajudeen Jimoh Alao who announced this during the school end of the session celebration over the weekend in Abeokuta, said academic activities would commenced in September, 2026 , urging parents and guardians to take full advantage of the opportunity provided for them to enroll their children who just completed their primary education into Al-Azeez Model College where they will continue qualitative, morally and spiritually conscious education
"We warmly invite parents and guardians to take advantage of this opportunity provided for their children with seamless continuation of the quality education and sound moral upbringing for which Al-Azeez Model School is renowned ", he urged
The Executive Director then appealed to parents, philanthropists and as well as alumni and friends of the school to support the completion of the newly acquired permanent site of Al-Azeez Model School, located at Oke-Abetu, Abeokuta.
"This ambitious project represents an investment in the future of our children and generations yet unborn . Every contribute, irrespective of its size, will bring us closer to providing an even more conducive, secure and world-class learning environment ", he stated
According to him, the school is currently well equipped with modern digital monitoring systems that manage the attendance of teachers electronically while the CCTV surveillance enhances the safety and security of learning environment
He charged the graduating pupils to see their graduation as beginning of greater opportunities and responsibilities as they move to the next stage of their academic journey, urging them to always uphold the value of integrity, discipline, excellence, respect , compassion and the fear of Allah instilled in them during their days in the school
Ustadh Tajudeen Jimoh Alao, , expressed profound appreciation to the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Ogun State, Professor Abayomi Arigbabu, whom he described as one of the most outstanding Commissioners of Education the state has witnessed.
He also urged parents, learners, and all stakeholders to remain proactive in promoting academic excellence, moral discipline, and community development through noble deeds and shared responsibility.
Delivering the anniversary's keynote lecture, Dr Rabiu Kusimo, Chief Executive Officer of Lafia Medical Centre, stressed the urgent need to raise righteous and morally upright children who are strong enough to cope with an era of challenges caused by increasing moral decadence and societal distractions.
He urged parents and guardians to remain deliberate and steadfast in nurturing children with sound Islamic values, exemplary character, and a lifelong commitment to knowledge and service.
Dr Kusimo congratulated the Proprietor and Executive Director of Al-Azeez Model School, Ustadh Tajudeen Jimoh Alao, for his unwavering dedication to quality education over the past fifteen years. He encouraged him to remain resolute in his mission of advancing educational excellence and producing future generations of responsible leaders.
The Chairman of the Occasion, Engr. Abdulhamid Femi Omotayo OmoOwo, represented by Mr Abdulwasiu Kehinde, conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the founder, describing the anniversary celebration and the launch of the secondary school as significant milestones deserving of commendation and celebration.
The Mother of the Day, Alhaja Afusat Omidina (Slaab), commended Al-Azeez Model School for its consistency, resilience, and unwavering commitment to educational excellence.
She described the institution as a beacon of hope and a model of quality education that continues to distinguish itself among its contemporaries.

Ambassador Olaleye Rasheed Damilare, who served as the Programme Coordinator; Sheikh Ibrahim Akanbi Eniyo; Imam Olatoye Asimiyu Akintoye; Ustadh Wakeel Amosa; Engr. Lukman Balogun; and the PTA Chairman, Mr Abdul Lateef Abebefe. They applauded the school's remarkable transformation from the era of conventional paper-based report cards to a fully digitised educational system featuring Computer-Based Testing (CBT), CCTV surveillance, and other technology-driven innovations. They also lauded the official launch of Al-Azeez Model College, describing it as a bold step toward expanding access to quality and value-based education.
