Ogun State Government through the Bureau of State Pensions, Office of the Head of Service has extended the online verification exercise for all retirees on Ogun State Government's pension payroll known as "I AM ALIVE" till August 10, 2026.
Permanent Secretary, Bureau of State Pensions, who doubles as the Chairman, Pension Fund Management Committee, Mrs. Arinola Adetayo in a statement, explained that that the extension was borne out of massive plea to accommodate more retirees into the system as the exercise was put in place to ascertain the status of the State retirees towards making life more better for them in retirement.
The Permanent Secretary added that, for the retirees to be verified, they should on their android or IOS mobile phones, download OGUN STATE PENSIONERS APP from Play store or Apple store and proceed to Set Up, enter Personal Enrollment Number (PEN), registered phone number and submit, follow further instructions, which include snapping of photograph to complete the verification exercise, while advising all concerned retirees to take advantage of the extension to verify their ‘alive’ status.
