Ogun State Government says the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), for learners in the final -year class in the Junior Secondary Schools across the state will commence on Tuesday, June 30 andbend on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu who announced this in a statement obtained by Edu-biznews on Thursday, directed all Principals of Secondary Schools to make adequate arrangements towards the successful conduct of the examination.
He added that the Ministry had put necessary machinery in place to ensure a hitch-free exercise, noting that any candidate who did not register online would not be allowed to write the examination.
The Commissioner in the statement, further advised that comportment in the examination halls is important, wishing the candidates a successful examination.
