Ogun Agro-Service Corporation Moves To Modernize Zonal Hubs

Ogun State Agro-Services Corporation has commenced a comprehensive assessment tour of its facilities in Yewa axis, as part of strategic moves to revitalise agricultural interventions and boost service delivery across the State

Chairman of the Corporation, Hon. Henry Fagbenro who led other members of the team on facility-tour,  said the tour was designed to evaluate the current operational status, infrastructure and challenges faced by the Zonal Offices in Olorunda, Imeko, Ayetoro and Ilaro.

Hon. Fagbenro, emphasised that the tour was vital for firsthand assessment to ensure that the Corporation remained aligned with the State Government's agricultural transformation agenda.

"Our mission is to ensure that every Zonal Office is fully equipped and operationally sound to support our local farmers and we are here to identify immediate areas of intervention, from equipment modernisation to staff welfare, so we can optimise our services," he said.

He added that the State Agro-Service Corporation remained resolute in its commitment to driving food security, empowering local farmers and making agricultural inputs easily accessible across all farming zones in the State.

Facilities inspected include, input distribution warehouses and administrative blocks, storage facilities and utilities such as the functionality of tractors, implements and processing equipment.

Additionally, meetings were held with Zonal Officers and field staff to discuss operational bottlenecks, where the duo of Mr. Abatan Dotun, from Ilaro and Mrs. Patricia Adeoye from Ayetoro Zonal Agro-Services commended the leadership team, saying, the visit had provided a golden opportunity to channel pressing challenges directly to the management.
