Management of the Lagos State University, Ojo has reminded its students of the approved one-week extension of the 2025/2026 Academic Session Second Semester Academic Calendar
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello had earlier on behalf of the University Senate, approved the extension to allow for the completion of outstanding academic activities and proper coordination of academic and administrative processes for the Second Semester.
Consequently, the revised Second Semester schedule according to a statement, is as stated below
1. Resumption, Registration and Lectures for New and Returning Students shall now run from *Monday, 2nd March* to *Friday, 29th May 2026 (13 weeks)*.
2. Second Semester Examinations shall take place from *Monday, 1st June* to *Friday, 26th June 2026 (4 weeks)*.
3. Grading and Uploading of Results shall be carried out from *Monday, 29th June* to *Friday, 10th July 2026 (2 weeks)*.
4. Departmental and Faculty Consideration, Uploading of Corrections and ICT Processing of Results shall be held from *Monday, 13th July* to *Friday, 17th July 2026 (1 week)*.
5. Collation of Results and Senate Meeting for Consideration and Approval of Results shall take place from *Monday, 20th July* to *Friday, 24th July 2026 (1 week)*.
6. End-of-Session Break shall commence on *Monday, 27th July 2026*.
*NOTE:*
The Second Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session has been extended by *one (1) week*.
The Sessional Break shall now run from *Monday, 27th July* to *Friday, 23rd October 2026*.
The 2026/2027 Academic Session shall commence on *Monday, 26th October 2026*.
"All students, staff, and members of the University community are hereby advised to take note of the above adjustments and comply accordingly", the statement concluded
