The Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, President of Trade Union Congress (TUC) ,Comrade Festus Osifo, former Accountant General of the Federation, Dr. Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein and Tayese of Egbaland and former Nigeria High Commissioner to United Kingdom, Chief Sarafa Tunji Ishola among other prominent individuals have showered encomium on Chief Executive Officer of Ecogas Energy Resources Limited, one of Nigeria's leading oil and gas companies, Chief Sina Luwoye and wife , Olabisi on their installation as Mayegun Egba and Erelu Mayegun Egba
The paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Gbadebo conferring the highly reverred Chieftaincy title of Mayegun Egba on Chief Luwoye alongside wife, Olabisi as Erelu Mayegun Egba on Saturday at his palace in Ake, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, described him as worthy of the title, saying he has contributed so much to the economic and educational growth of Egba kingdom, through the establishment of Ecogas Energy Resources Limited, a major player in the oil and gas industry in the country and Shina Luwoye Foundation which has been empowering people and giving bursary awards to support the education of the brilliant students
Similarly the high chiefs in Egbaland, including the Tayese of Egbaland, Chief Sarafa Tunji Ishola expressed confidence in the ability of the Mayegun Egba, saying he has what it takes to perform creditably in the new traditional role for the people of Egbaland
President of TUC, Festus Osifo who led large number of the union's members, said Chief Luwoye had impacted the lives of several workers positively in the country, as one-time national leader of both TUC and Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASAN) , saying he is replicating such impactful contributions in his immediate community through Ecogas which has employed over 500 Nigerians
Also the immediate past Accountant General of the Federation, Dr Oluwatoyin Madein, a classmate in the Accountancy Department in the then Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic MAPOLY, lauded the leadership style of Chief Luwoye who led members of the set till 2023, describing him as a man of candour, very focus , energetic and impactful
"He really led members of our set with so much positive stories and successes . I will reiterate what the Alake of Egbaland Oba Gbadebo and the High Chiefs in Egbaland, by charging to do more. He has impacted on many lives with the establishment of Ecogas which has employed several people in Egba. I call on him to continue to expand business base to enable the company to employ more Nigerians across the country", she urged
Speaking in the same vein, the Olu of Owode-Egba , Oba Kolawole Sowemimo who had initially installed Chief Luwoye as Mayegun of Owode-Egba was full of excitement over the elevation to the position of Mayegun Egba, adding the entire Egbaland will surely enjoy the benefit of his conferement as Mayegun Egba with his wife Olabisi as Erelu Mayegun Egba
Chief Executive Officer of Precious Pharmacy, a leading pharmaceutical store, Dr Arowora, prayed God to grant him more wisdom and strength to discharge the new role as Mayegun Egba
The highly elated Chief Luwoye, however promised to carry out his new traditional role as the new title holder of Mayegun Egba with more energy for the development of Egbaland, saying he has been challenged to do more
"As Mayegun I will see how we be more innovative, how we can use the power of business enterprise in solving the larger problems of joblessness , poor economic base in the society by ensuring economic inclusiveness", he stated
Chief Luwoye, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), was conferred with one of the most prestigious Chieftaincy titles in Egbaland, the Mayegun Egba alongside with his wife Olabisi as Erelu Mayegun, the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Ecogas Petroleum Nigeria Limited, playing a major role in the expansion of the retail outlets in the country, achieving a turn over that runs into several billions of naira
