2026 Hajj: Ogun Govt Ends Medical Screening, Distributes Luggage To Pilgrims

Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has completed the final stage of medical screening with intending pilgrims who  have also been given luggage for the 2026 Hajj to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The exercise took place at the Board’s office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, with the sole aim to prepare pilgrims for a safe and smooth journey to holy cities of  Makkah and Medina

The Board's Executive Secretary, Taiwo Ajibola during the screening, said the screening was done in stages, following instructions from Saudi authorities.

He explained that the aim was to check the health of the pilgrims and help strengthen their immunity before the trip.
He also said luggage was given to each of the pilgrims so they can properly pack their belongings, noting that it is an important part of the travel process.

According to him, this effort shows the Board’s commitment to the welfare and proper preparation of Ogun State pilgrims for a successful Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
