The colourful historic sporting event held on Tuesday, 10th February, 2026 at the school's play ground, saw Zakat House (Yellow house) emerging as overall best at the event, clinching the first position in the match past and excelling across other general sporting activities.
The sporting event among the pupils competing for various houses was characterized by high level of discipline and beautiful display of raw talents
The Zakat house was instituted by the school as a reward and appreciation for the solar-powered water facility donated to the Ilenikuwa community by the Zakat and Sadaqah Foundation.
The competition attracted dignitaries, education stakeholders, community leaders, and patrons of the participating houses—Blue, Brown, and Purple which added prestige and excitement to the occasion.
Representing the Executive Director of the Zakat and Sadaqah Foundation, Prince Sulaiman Olagunju, the Ogun State Coordinator, Alhaji (TPL) Anifowose Rahman Kewulere, commended the school management for the honour of establishing Zakat House.
He described the gesture as a reflection of gratitude and a demonstration of strong community partnership.
Alhaji Kewulere assured the school and community of the Foundation’s commitment to sustaining a productive relationship that promotes education, community development, and social well-being.
In furtherance of this commitment, the Foundation donated a Zakat Cup and provided complete sports uniforms for all pupils of Zakat House, including the house mistress, to further encourage and motivate them
The maiden inter-house sports was widely applauded for its organisation, vibrancy, and motivational impact, setting a solid precedent for future editions while reinforcing the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and humanitarian organisations.
