LASU Retains Position As Most Rated University In West Africa, Among Top 760 Globally- GreenMetric Ranking Report Reveals

Lagos State University in Nigeria's commercial city has retained its position as the Best University in West Africa according to the latest ranking report by the Universitas Indonesia (UI) GreenMetric World University Ranking

With the report, LASU is retaining the top spot for four (4) consecutive years: 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025

LASU in the 2025 report, also recorded appreciable rating globally as it rose to 760th from 799th attained in 2024

The global ranking was done among 1, 745 institutions, highlighting its commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility and green initiatives.

A position the University has maintained since joining the ranking platform in September 2022.
