Babcock Business School Partners Haven Tower Group On Proposed N200million Vocational Centre In Lagos




Babcock Business School is partnering with Haven Tower Group to establish a Vocational Centre in Lagos, Nigeria's commercial city,  as part of the strategic moves to drive the economic growth through entrepreneurship initiative 
 
The centre according to the proposed partnership arrangement, will be funded with an initial take- off sum of Two Hundred Million Naira by Haven Tower Group and provide hands-on training in technical courses, brick making, tailoring and related fields for High School graduates. 

Haven Tower Group Managing Director, Dr. Akinyele Oladeji , a member of the pioneer set of PhD graduates of the Babcock Business School,  made this known after a meeting between both parties in his Lagos office

He revealed that under the partnership, the company would also provide facilities for training and serve as an annex to Babcock Business School. 

“This partnership is my way of giving back to the institution", BBS Alumnus said

President/Vice Chancellor of the Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Professor Afolarin Olutunde Ojewole in his response, described the planned partnership as commendable and worthy of emulation

“When we see an alumnus representing the core values of the university, we don’t have anything more to say, but to appreciate him,” he added.

He said the future lies in “touching lives through excellence and helping Nigeria”. 
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the partnership details is expected to be signed soon. 

 Head of BBS, Professor Rufus Akintoye, Group Managing Director, Harvard Associates, Professor Abiodun Osiyemi, and Managing Partner, O.M Associates, Mr. Olufemi Oguntade were among those at the meeting
