The Alake and the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Michael Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, has once again applauded the string of successes that the Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration has recorded in the provision of affordable, but quality housing across the social strata in the state.
The monarch stated this during the commissioning of Oke- Lantoro Yidi road recently, saying, the impact of recent housing initiatives had gone a long way to bring relief to the people, highlighting further the scale of development and its social benefits to citizens at home and in the diaspora.
His royal words: “When it comes to housing, I need to tell you that, we have had governors in the State, but, when it comes to housing development, the present governor has surpassed them all with his delivery of housing projects. Many of our children abroad can return home to live in their own houses instead of staying in hotels. Your Excellency, I want to thank you".
The commendation reflected growing recognition from traditional institutions of the expanding access to affordable housing and its role in strengthening community stability, economic growth, and home ownership across the State.
The Commissioner for Housing, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi had earlier emphasised that the idea behind the new Ibara GRA was to bring total transformation geared towards enhancing economic value of the State.
