Recruitment: Nigeria Police Force Extends Application By Two Weeks For Applicants In Ogun, Other States

The Police Service Commission and the Nigeria Police Force have extended the application by two weeks ,so as to create 

enabling environment for more indigenes of Ogun State and some other States that notably have very low applicants that applied to join the police in the country 

The extension is to ensure equitable representation nationwide by the police authorities 

 The State Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services, Mr. Olanrewaju Saka who announced the extension in a statement on Tuesday, said the ongoing recruitment exercises of 50, 000 Police Constable which had commenced December 15, 2025, will effectively now close, February 8, 2026.

 Applications according to him, are still expected from Nigerians with valid NIN who must be SSCE or its equivalent certificate holder, while application forms and other necessary information are available online via www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng.

The statement further encouraged qualified Ogun State indigene to make adequate use of the extension window to apply for the advertised post of Police Constable via the above website.
