The Ogun State Government has disclosed that the present administration had implemented eight promotion exercises for public school teachers within the last six years, urging teachers to remain dedicated and committed to their duties.
Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Evangelist Olalekan Ifede who disclosed this while featuring on a Yoruba Radio programme 'OJU, ABE', also said that the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration had concluded arrangements to renovate and rehabilitate an additional 150 public schools across the three Senatorial Districts of the State through SUBEB
According to him, present administration had rehabilitated a total of 1,067 public schools in the last five years through interventions executed by Ogun SUBEB.
The SUBEB boss stressed that priority would be given to the most dilapidated school buildings, adding that renovation work would soon commence on the affected schools
Ifede urged the OgunTeach interns to promptly resume at their duty posts, assuring them that the present government would not disappoint them regarding permanency before the end of Governor Abiodun’s tenure.
He described the Governor as a morally upright leader whose administration had repositioned Ogun State to an enviable status among the comity of States.
