Nigeria-born British boxer, Anthony Joshua narrowly escaped death in a fatal road crash on Monday, at Makun area of Sagamu in Ogun State.
The former world heavy weight champion was reportedly involved in the road accident which claimed two other lives, while the boxer sustained injury
The incident according to an eyewitness, took place on the heavily trafficked Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, at around 11:00 AM.
Reports indicate that an SUV transporting Anthony Joshua collided with a stationary truck.
The exact circumstances of the crash are still under investigation, with officials working to determine what led to the incident.
A video of the incident shows Anthony Joshua being rescued from the wrecked vehicle, appearing to have suffered injuries while two bodies were seen at the scene of the road
