The Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration has been applauded by the National Examination Council (NECO) for its transformative initiative and developmental innovations in the State education sector, a development that has made Ogun State a role model to other States of the federation in terms of quality education delivery.
Director, Southwest Zonal Directorate of the examination council, Dr. Benjamin Bà rgú gave the commendation during a visit to the office of the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, in Abeokuta
Ogun State according to him, has been rated highest among other Southwest States in terms of schools accreditation and registration.
Responding, The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, commended NECO for its credibility in the conduct of its Examination, noting that the examination body had grown over the years with notable improvement and success stories.
"For us, NECO has proven to be a reliable body, national brand and pride of the Nation that we can be proud of, when it comes to conduct of viable examination,’’ Arigbabu said.
