Edu-biznews Hails NUJ For Honouring Paramount FM's GM, Oluremi Olugbenro With Exceptional Service Award

The Editorial and Management team of August 22nd Communication Links publisher of Edu-biznews have lauded the leadership of Ogun State Council of 

Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) over the award given to the newly appointed General Manager of Radio Nigeria,Paramount FM, Abeokuta, Mrs Oluremi Olugbenro who was honoured in recognition of her exceptional skills and contributions to the broadcasting industry in the state.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Editor of Edu-biznews, Abdulfatai Sobande in a statement, described the award as a well deserved for a thorough trained professional who has contributed greatly to the growth of journalism practice in the state and Nigeria at large 

The media organization in the statement, expressed its commitment to always uphold ethics of journalism practice in reportage of activities particularly in education, business and tourism sectors while urging NUJ to sustain such recognition for outstanding members who have contributed to the development of media industry 

The State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Wale Olarewaju had during the presentation of the award at the monthly Congress of the Union held at Iwe Iroyin, Oke Ilewo Abeokuta, said the award was to appreciate Olugbenro for her outstanding qualities. 

Comrade Olarewaju explained that the award was a testament to the General Manager's dedication to the media industry and her ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Mr. Olarewaju also expressed confidence that Mrs. Oluremi would leverage her skills and expertise to lift Paramount FM to greater heights.

In their separate remarks, some of the Members of the Union, including Comrades Folake Adeniji, Kazeem Olowe, and Yinka Olukoya, described Mrs. Olugbenro as a goal getter who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, unwavering dedication, and an unrelenting passion for excellence. 

Paramount FM General Manager, Mrs. Oluremi Olugbenro, appreciated the NUJ leadership for the recognition, and pledged to further strengthen the bond between the station and the union.
