Nigeria's D' Tigers have crashed out of the ongoing 2025 FIBA Afrobasket in Angola, after their 75-91 loss to Senegal in the quarter finals
The Nigerian men's basketball side had won the keenly contested first quarter 24-23 before the Senegales came back forcefully into the game, dominating the second quarter 30-18 and third quarter, 23-13 but losing the fourth quarter 15-20 to the D' Tigers
In the earlier quarter finals game decided, Mali defeated Ivory Coast 102-96, to secure the semi-finals ticket
The competition continues this Thursday with the quarter finals game between highly riding, Egypt and Cameroun
