Ogun State Government has expressed its commitment towards the successful hosting of this year s veterans cup Zonal qualifier holding in Abeokuta between 25th and 26th of July, 2025
The State Commissioner for Sports Development , Hon Wasiu Isiaka gave the assurance while hosting the leadership of All Stars Football Association who paid him a courtesy call in his office.
Hon Isika stressed that as stake holders of sports in the state , the state government holds the All Stars football Association of Muda Lawal stadium in high esteem and will continue to support and engage them and other relevant stakeholders in taking sports development in Ogun State to the next level.
The leadership of All Stars Football Association led by the president Alh Salman Akinbo had earlier congratulated the commissioner on the success of the recently held Gateway games 2024 and intimated him about the annual veterans cup competition.
This year s Zonal elimination will be hosted by the Abeokuta All Stars Football Association from July 25 to July 26 2025.
The qualifier will produce a sole representative from south west and will join qualifiers from other zones and host state Lagos later in the year for the annual National championship.
