Ogun State House of Assembly will commence its 2025 mid-year budget performance assessment as part of its oversight functions on Monday, 21st July, 2025.

, noted that the exercise was in line with constitutional function of the State legislature in line with sections 128 and 129 of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).
He therefore directed all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to submit relevant documents to the House by Friday, 11th July, 2025, to assist the lawmakers have a hitch- free exercise.
Governor Dapo Abiodun had presented the Year 2025 Appropriation Bill of N1,054,542,020,147.47 before members the State House of Assembly, consisting of N453.56billion as recurrent expenditure and N600.98billion as capital expenditure which was later passed into law on 24th December, 2024 by the house
