Anu-Olu Group of Schools' Proprietor Calls On Fathers To Be More Interested In Children's Educational Growth






Proprietor of Anu-Olu Group of Schools in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Hon. Semiu Bola Lawal has expressed concern over the attitude of most fathers, calling on them to be more interested in the educational growth of their children, in order to ensure a better and secured future for them in the highly challenging society in Nigeria 

The former Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government was speaking on Wednesday during the 2024/2025 valedictory service of Anu-Olu Nursery and Primary School held at its premises, 3 Bola Lawal Street, in Quarry Road area of Abeokuta 

Hon. Bola Lawal tasked fathers to always compliment the efforts of mothers whom according to him, have been demonstrated more commitment to the educational careers of their children in the school 

He called on them to equally support their wives who are into small scale businesses to strengthen the finances of their individual families, so as to meet up with the financial obligation to the children's educational needs in schoo








The proprietor then congratulated the graduating pupils of Basic five in primary section and Nursery section to imbibe teachings of discipline and hard work to overcome tasks ahead in their academic pursuits 

Similarly, Principal of Anu-Olu International College Abeokuta, Mr. Oluwaseun Balogun described the investment in the educational growth of the children as an investment in their future 

He called on parents to always compliment the efforts of teachers in the school, by showing more interest in class assignments given to their wards in school for proper understanding of such assignments 



He appreciated the parents for their commitments to the growth of the school and encouraged them to do more by ensuring that the graduating pupils in the school progress to the secondary section of Anu-Olu Group of Schools 

Head-boy of the 2025 graduating class of Anu-Olu Nursery and Primary School, Semilore Akande was full of appreciation to the teachers for meaningful impact made in their lives and parents for the financial commitment to their educational growth 



He called on fellow members of the 2025 set to make good use of quality education received in addition to the spirits of discipline and hard work acquired in the school to excel in their next educational careers in the Junior Secondary School class 

High point of the valedictory service included presentation of prizes to the pupils with exceptional academic performances in various classes from Nursery to Primary sections of the school and presentation of certificates to the graduating pupils in Primary and Nursery sections of the school 

Also Head teacher , Mrs Fatimah Giwa was adjudged as the best staff for the 2025 academic year in the primary section of Anu-Olu Group of Schools, Abeokuta 


























The event was spiced up with a lot of fun including cultural dance, drama, chorography and other forms of display by pupils in various classes in the school 












Former Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South, Hon. Lukmon Shonekan, owner of Career Builders Nursery and Primary School, Abeokuta amongst other dignitaries graced the event
