President Tinubu Returns To Abuja After Two Weeks Holiday In Lagos, Inaugurates Conference Centre

 


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has left Lagos for Abuja after a two-week break in the nation’s commercial city where he celebrated Eid -el-Adha on Friday with Muslim ummah in Nigeria 

President Tinubu was seen being accompanied to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other government officials. 

Tinubu had been in Lagos since May 27th, 2025, during which he attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in Lagos State , before joining other Muslim faithful in marking this year's Eid-el-Kabir Celebration in the city 

During his two-week stay, Tinubu commissioned several projects in the city and also played host to a retinue of high-profile guests in his home.

On May 31, the president inaugurated Phase 1, Section 1 (30km by six lanes) of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway.


Five days later, he also flagged off the reconstruction of the access road to the Lekki Deep Seaport in Lagos State in a ceremony attended by captains of industry, government officials, among others.

On  his return to Abuja, Tinubu attended the inauguration of International Conference Centre named after him
