Tertiary Education Trust Fund ,TETFund has praised the management of the Ogun State owned, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) Abeokuta for ensuring proper utilization of fund released to the Institution, promising to ensure completion of all ongoing intervention capital projects before end of this year
The TETFUND Board of Trustees Member, representing Southwest Zone, Hon.Sunday Adepoju gave the assurance on Monday during a fact-finding visit to the ongoing physical projects on the Ojere campus of the institution in Abeokuta, the State capital
Adepoju accompanied by other top officials of TETFUND and principal officers of MAPOLY during the visit, inspected some of the TETFund's projects in the institution, including the construction of the School of Business and Management Studies complex, which is currently 50% completed, the School of Environmental Studies complex nearing completion and the already completed Centre for Skill Development project
He commended the institution for utilizing the allocated funds judiciously for the projects, promising to ensure release of funds for completion of the intervention projects before end of the year
Rector of the 46 year -old institution , Dr. Babatunde Jolaoso had earlier commended TETFund for its timely intervention in repositioning education and infrastructure development in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria
Dr Jolaoso urged the team to sustain the support and interventions to further enhance the institution's academic and the ongoing infrastructural growth on the campus
