Anambra Guber Poll: Prince Ifeanyi Onyeso Emerges As NNPP's Candidate



The New Nigeria People's Party has declared Prince Ifeanyi Onyeso as the winner of its 9th of April 2025  Gubernatorial Primary conducted held in Awka, Anambra State Capital.

The Gubernatorial Primary of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) was keenly contested with Suv. Eric Ebede a Senior Professional Surveyor, Coming closely as runner-up.

Deputy National Chairman of the party , Chief Felix Chukwura who announced the results while speaking with newsmen after the keenly contested Gubernatorial Primary,  said there was no looser in the contest.

 "All our Gubernatorial aspirants are winners and they shall all collaborate and work  together with the candidate who emerged in today's primary election to win the coming Governorship Election " Chukwura said 

The National Secretary of the New Nigeria People's Party, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday while delivering the good will messages of the Founder and Chairman Board of Trustees, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam and that of NNPP's National Chairman Dr Agbo Gilbert Major, expressed satisfaction with the transparency of the process that produced Prince Ifeanyi Onyeso as the Governorship Candidate of New Nigeria People's Party in Anambra.

 " I am very happy that every delegate of today's Primary Election conducted themselves in a very peaceful manner and this showed that Anambra State NNPP is a pacesetter. I am not surprised to see quality people who are timbers and calibers here because this is the State of the Great Founder of NNPP. Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam is the son of the soil here and he has instructed me to tell you that he will support the Anambra State chapter of NNPP to make an impactful success in the coming Governorship Election"

"The National Chairman , Dr. Agbo Gilbert Major also asked me to tell you all that the National Headquarters of this party is ready to offer every needed support to ensure maximum success in the coming and other subsequent elections", he stated
