Rivers Utd Force Shooting Stars To Barren Draw In Ibadan, As Remo Stars Widen Lead In NPFL

Rivers United of Port Harcourt are maintaining their second position with 43 points, after forcing home side , Shooting Stars to a barren draw in a week 27 match played in Ibadan on Monday 

With the result, the Gbenga Ogunbote tutored Oluyole Warriors remain in the third position with the same number of points 43 points , eleven points behind leaders, Remo Stars of Ikenne-Remo who widen their lead on the table with 54 points after a slim one/nil win against visiting Plateau United of Jos who are in 16th position with 31 points 

Kano Pillars moved to the fourth position with 42 points after beating defending champions Enugu Rangers 2-1 in Kano while Rangers dropped to the fifth spot with 41 points 

Deputant, Ikorodu City are occupying sixth spot with 41 points, after a narrow 2-1 win against visiting rejuvenated  Heartland of Owerri who are currently in the 13th position with 33 points 

Abia Warriors are in the seventh with 41 points after settling down for a one-all draw with visitors, Nasarawa United who are in the 17th position with 31 points 

El-kanemi Warriors are placed in the eighth position with 40 points after a lone-goal win against visiting Lobi Stars of Markudi who are still languishing at the bottom of the table with mere 23 points 

Bendel Insurance of Benin are occupying ninth position with 38 points after a 1-2  loss to home side, Bayelsa United of Yenegoa who are in the 14th position with 33 points 

Former champions, Enyimba International of Aba are in the tenth position with 38 points after recording an impressive lone-goal win on the road against home side, Niger Tornadoes of Minna who are occupying 11th position with 37 points 

Kwara United of Ilorin are occupying 12th position with 36 points after losing to home side, Sunshine Stars of Akure who won 4-2 on Monday in week 27 match on Monday but still within relegation zone in 18th position with 31 points 

Katsina United are currently in the 15th position with 33 points after their loss to home side, Akwa United of Uyo who won by a lone-goal to remain in the relegation water in the 19th position with just 27 points
