Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof.Abayomi Arigbabu on Monday demonstrated his teaching skills in the classrooms, imparting knowledge in students from two of the public secondary schools inspected on the first day of schools resumption for the second term of the 2024/2025 academic session in the state
The Commissioner accompanied by top officials of the ministry, was seen during the inspection teaching Yoruba Language at African Church Grammar School, Ita-Eko in Abeokuta, the State capital and solving some Mathematical problems for students at Christ Church High School, Sabo-Molode in Ijebu-Ode
Arigbabu also visited other schools including Agbele Comprehensive High School, Sagamu and Ososa Comprehensive High School amongst others where he witnessed welcome test conducted for students in various subjects to prepare them for the new term
The Commissioner in a special message welcoming the pupils and students back to school, posted on his Facebook page, charged them to be focused on their studies and be determined to excel at the end of the second term in school
He equally urged teachers to continue to give their best to the students for them to succeed while appreciating teachers in public schools for the support given to the State Government in the past five years of the Prince Dapo Abiodun's administration
"I want to urge our teachers to continue to give their best, you have been supportive and I want to urge you to continue to help the government and continue to comply with the lay down rules and regulations. Our parents have been very wonderful, this is beginning of new term, please continue to be these children and continue to support and guide them, so that whatever we do in the school will have a commensurate surgery from home ", he urged
The Education Commissioner then used the opportunity to welcome other stakeholders in the education sector to continue support the Prince Dapo Abiodun's administration while praying to God to continue to give parents the wherewithal to provide adequate guidance and financial resources for their children
"Almighty God will continue to provide adequate guidance to our teachers and students, so that this session will be successful as ever", he prayed
