Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta has announced the dissolution of the 2023/2024 Students Union Executives, hours after the Institution was shutdown indefinitely on Monday, following protest by some students over verification of authenticity of their certificates from other institutions for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes
Head, Public Relations and Protocol of the polytechnic, Yemi Ajibola who made this known in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews, said that the decision was taken at the emergency meeting of the Management held on Tuesday, 14th January, 2025.
"The dissolution was as a result of the expiration of their tenure by effluxion of time, being currently in the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic session"
"Consequently, the 2023/ 2024 Union Executives is hereby dissolved. Hence, they should *STOP PARADING* themselves as Students' Union Executives of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta", the statement concluded
