Yuletide: Ireede-Oginni Grassroots Foundation Urges Nigerians To Be Selflessness, Support Less Priviledged

Ireede-Oginni Grassroots Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization has asked Nigerians to always emulate the spirit of selflessness by assisting the less priviledged particularly during the current economic hardship as exemplified by Jesus Christ whose birthday is being celebrated on Christmas Day by Christians all over the world

Founder of the foundation, Chief (Hon.) Funmilayo Ireede-Oginni who made the call in a statement marking the festive period of Christmas and Boxing Day by Christians, said reaching out to those in need would cushion the effects of the hardship and make the two days, Wednesday and Thursday as declared by Federal Government more meaningful for the celebration

Chief Executive Officer of emerging conglomerate Terra Integrated Services Limited also called on the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration to continue to initiate policies that encourage growth of small scale businesses and manufacturing sector while ensuring more investments in critical infrastructure such as power generation and roads

Doing these according to the foundation, will stimulate economic growth and generate more employment opportunities for unemployed Nigerians and create more wealth for the nation

The Co-founder of Future Promise Group of Schools Abeokuta , then assured that her foundation would continue to support the less priviledged in the society through empowerment initiatives targeted at women, particularly in rural areas in Ogun State

She maintained that the foundation would continue to sustain its support for education of brilliant pupils and talented young Nigerians from the less priviledged families through provision of scholarship award to enable them actualize dreams in future

The foundation however cautioned Nigerians to always celebrate with moderation and show love for one another
