Governor Dapo Abiodun has inaugurated a block of three classrooms with chairs and tables, at IPLG Primary School at Ayetoro AkoJaga, Ihunbo/Ilashe ward in Ipokia Local Government Area, to further demonstrate his administration's commitment to improve teaching and learning environment in public schools across Ogun State
Other projects include, 20 Lock-up shops along Araromi Onfo road, Ipokia ward 1, renovated Health Centres, borehole facilities, among others.
Governor Abiodun during the commissioning,said it was pertinent to address inadequate infrastructure in schools, reiterating his administration’s commitment to total overhauling of the education sector
He stressed the need to create a conducive environment for learners and teachers' optimal service delivery across the 20 Local Government Areas in the state
Abiodun who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, stated that education was the best legacy to give to children, saying quality educational system impacts performance of learners, hence demanded more government’s investment.
He urged the Chairman and Legislative Arm of the council area to continue to cooperate and support the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led government for more developmental projects in the area.
Also speaking, the Chairman, Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Olawale Egbetokun, showered encomium on the efforts of the Governor for successful completion of the projects, enjoining residents to cultivate habit of maintenance culture and utilise the facilities judiciously
