2024 Hajj: Last Batch Of Ogun Pilgrims Return To Nigeria



The last batch of  36pilgrims from Ogun State have returned safely to Nigeria from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after completing necessary hajj rites.

The pilgrims including the State Muslim Pilgrims Board officials, landed safely at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at exactly 10 pm on Monday night ,July 1, 2024.

Edu-Biznews recalls that the first, second, and third batches, totalling 891 pilgrims, had already returned safely in the previous week, bringing the total to 934.

Chairman of the board,Imam Hussein Kehinde, speaking with newsmen on arrival, appreciated Allah for making the hajj exercise seamless

Kehinde who lauded the state government for the adequate welfare of the pilgrims,  advised the pilgrims to keep up the good lessons learned during the pilgrimage.

Corroborating the Chairman, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda, acknowledged the unwavering support of Governor Dapo Abiodun for Hajj operations, appreciating the pilgrims for being good ambassadors during their stay in the holy land of Makkah and Medina.
