NPFL:Remo Stars Revive Title Chase, Whip Heartland 4-1, As Rangers Fall To Shooting Stars 1-0 In Ibadan

Remo Stars Football Club of Ikenne-Remo revived their chase for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title, after whipping relegation bound visiting Heartland of Owerri 4-1 in a week 36 match played on Wednesday 

The Skye Blues' impressive win at Remo Stars International Stadium in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, confirmed the Naze Millionaire relegation who currently occupy the 19th position with 35 points while the homeside moved to the second spot with 62 points behind  Enugu Rangers who are still at the summit of the league with 64 points despite their a lone-goal loss  to arch-rivals, Shooting Stars in Ibadan who are now in the fourth position with 59 points 

The Daniel Ogunmodede tutored side must win its two remaining matches in the Nigeria's top flight league while hoping the Flying Antelope drop some points in their respective matches 

Enyimba International FC dropped from second spot to third position with 60 points, after being forced to a one-all draw in Aba by visiting Bayelsa United of Yenegoa who are occupying the 16th position with 44 points 

Plateau United of Jos are placed fifth with 57 points after humiliating relegation threatened homeside, Sport Lagos 2-1 currently in the 17th position with 43 points while sixth placed Lobi Stars of Makurdi are still with 55 points a 2-3 narrow loss in Minna  to hosts, Niger Tornadoes who are in the 12th position with 48 points while Bendel Insurance FC of Benin are placed seventh with 53 points after their hard earned win against visitors, Rivers United of Port-Harcourt who are in the ninth position with 50 points 

Eight placed Katsina United with 52 points were beaten 3-1 by homeside, Akwa United of Uyo currently occupying 14th position with 46 points while Kano Pillars are in the tenth position with 48 points after their 0-2 loss in Ilorin  to their hosts, Kwara United currently on the 11th spot with same points 

Abia Warriors consolidated their position on the 13th spot with 48 points after their 3-1 win on the road against bottom placed Gombe United with 25 points while the match between the relegation threatened 18th placed Doma United with 43 points and visiting Sunshine Stars of Akure still in the 15th position with 46 points will hold at later date
