All is now set for holding of the 2024 South West Zone of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) Conference tagged Abeokuta SWAC 2024, scheduled to hold between Wednesday 3rd and Saturday 6th of July in the Ogun State capital
Media Coordinator of the conference, Biodun Alabi in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Saturday, listed Prof.Tunde Makanju as keynote Speaker to be supported by other lead speakers
The conference according to the statement, will feature former captain of then Green Eagles, Chief Segun Odegbami as Special Guest, including Chief Bukola Olopade who is the founder of Nilayo Sports Management and Mr Tunde Popoola ( Secretary General of Nigeria Olympic Committee) among others
The Conference Chairman is Senator Olamilekan Adeola, a distinguished ranking member of the Nigerian Senate representing Yewa Senatorial District of Ogun State while Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun CFR is the Chief Host and Special Guest of Honour of the event described as biggest athletic conference in the region where sports administrators and technocrats from host Ogun State, Lagos, Ekiti, Ondo, Osun and Oyo State will be attendance
